I have been working with Vortech for a number of years across projects which have included the requirements for Cook Quench Chill systems.

The Vortex is an efficient and reliable machine with exceptional build quality and the team at Tecna are flexible on both design and use of preferred components. They are happy to encompass additional input from customers and their standard machine is hygienic, with a good IP rating and full HMI visualisation. This provides a reliable machine and enables ownership and ease of use.

The last but one Vortex I ordered for a large food group exceeded expectation in terms of throughput and product quality. It was a Model D1 900 4 basket, achieving 2 tonnes per hour of noodles. They are processing 8 different products on that site and easily achieving outfeed chill temperatures of less than 3°c.

Vortech installations are quick and carried out by a professional who knows the machine completely, so there is no drama during commission.

The last machine purchased is currently at trial stage, but I fully expect that to surpass the Tender specification.

In my role as project manager I implement automated lines and consequently deal with suppliers all across Europe. I find Vortech a pleasure to deal with and I am happy to provide this testimonial, if you are looking for a CQC you should speak to them first.

I Project Managed a CQC upgrade for a market leading UK pasta salad manufacturer in 2017.

The Vortex Mono 1350 was specified for cooking a wide range of products including rice, pasta and noodle at rates of up to 3 tonne per hour. The Vortex exceeded expectations for product throughput and energy/utility savings.

Through all stages from initial design though to handover the service from Vortech was very professional, and the final installation was of an extremely high build quality.
